I love making doll clothes and this was a perfect project to enjoy, as I was away on vacation with my family last summer. Yes, you read it right - it was last year that this dress was completed, but it wasn't until this March that I finalized it!
When making the dress, I was inspired by delightful baby/toddler outfits in Japanese knitting magazines. The dress incorporates some of these designs, though I had to fully recalculate the stitches to adjust to a doll size.
