I was quite impressed by the beautiful snowflake doily pattern which I saw in one of the Diana Creative magazines. This would be a perfect Christmas gift for someone, I thought, and started working on it in November 2016.
Fast forward almost a year and a half (!), and I have have finally completed it in April 2018! The doily turned out to be quite a bit of work, and quite a large item, and I thought - why would not I keep it as a gift to myself?
The doily is quite large - it stretches across the whole section on my sofa!

I love how the exquisite snowflake is floating in a gentle crochet mesh - the pattern designers did a great job!
