I had a ball of leftover yarn from this project and what would be the best use for it? an outfit for a doll, of course!
As I did not know how much I would be able to knit with it, I started at the top in a raglan manner. No pattern that I followed - just a quick improvisation on my part!
I think this little summer jacket turned out very cute!
The fit on my Journey Girl doll is a little loose but still fits lovely:

My American Girl doll has a fuller body, so the the jacket sort of hugs her figure in a more feminine way :).
