As an effort to reduce my stash, I decided to put a bunch of bulky yarns to good use and create something practical - like a blanket! To create some contrast, I used some thinner yarn, knitting it with two strands. This worked out quite well, as the resulting blanket was produced quickly in just one week!
Here is how the blanket looks like:
To make the blanket, I knit 6 blocks, starting with three stitches and
increasing them by 4 in each second row.
The blanket is quite warm and colours are practical.

Once all blocks were sewn
together, I crocheted a border around them, finishing with 4 tassels.
